Little hope of a Brexit deal as EU leaders meet in Brussels

Hopes of a deal on Brexit at a meeting of European Union leaders in Brussels seem to be dwindling.

The EU's chief negotiator is saying they might need to extend a transition period as Britain leaves the European Union.
