Japan is considering imposing sanctions on Belarusian officials over the Ukraine crisis.
Belarus is allowing the passage of Russian troops to Ukraine. It has also voted to give up its non-nuclear status, paving the way for Moscow to deploy nuclear weapons in its territory.
