Philppines Calls China's South China Sea Proposals Questionable

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says his country hasn't rejected China's proposal on managing disputes over the South China Sea, but that the premise is questionable and counter to the Philippines' interests.


China's foreign ministry said on Tuesday that it had put forward initiatives to the Southeast Asian nation to manage their disputes and work together.
