Indian Supreme Court extends stay on deportation of Rohingya refugees

The Indian Supreme Court has said that the Indian government cannot deport 40,000 Rohingya refugees settled in India for another month.

The Indian government wants to deport the refugees on the grounds that they pose a threat to national security. The move has been challenged in India's highest court by Rohingya refugees.

The next date of hearing in this case is on 7th March.
