Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Saudi Arabia has allowed India's national carrier Air India to fly over its airspace for a new direct flight route from New Delhi to Tel Aviv. Air India though claims the approval hasn't come through yet.
During Netanyahu's India visit in January this year, he had stressed on the need for Israel and India to have direct air connectivity as urgently as possible.
