Indian government refuses foreign aid for Kerala floods

The Indian government said that the country will not accept financial assistance from nations for flood-wrecked Kerala. 

It has so far turned down offers of financial aid from UAE, Qatar, Thailand and Maldives

The floods in Kerala have displaced one million people and experts say that it could take a decade for the state to get back on its feet.
