EU Commission steps up challenge to countries selling "golden passports" for EU citizenship

The European Commission says it's sending a very clear and strong warning to EU member states that sell citizenship or residency to investors.

 

Brussels  says selling citizenship is putting the EU at risk of money laundering, corruption and tax evasion.
