India's investigative agency chief fired days after being reinstated

A panel led by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fired the head of a federal investigative body, just days after he was reinstated by India's Supreme Court. 

Critics have accused the government of undermining the credibility of the Central Bureau of Investigation- a body that is like the FBI in its functioning and role.
